打印机出现"print job cancled at printer"，导致无法打印的问题
解决方法：
I had this problem with a HP LaserJet MFP m28w on Linux Mint 21 (Xfce). The solution seems be to launch Settings / Printers, right click on the printer (which was found automatically), choose Properties, and then change Job Options / Other Options (Advanced) / print-color-mode to monochrome (from RGB, I seem to recall).
Initially the printer worked fine, but then after an update (apt-get upgrade) a while back (half-a-year or so?) this problem came up and turned out to be persistent. Initially I assumed that a later update would fix it but no such luck. I finally got annoyed enough to try and look into it a bit and the above job option seemed suspect (it is a monochrome printer after all) and changing it seems to have fixed the problem for me.
Incidentally, there was a workaround: turns out Firefox still managed to print just fine so I could first print to file to get a PDF (or export as PDF with LibreOffice), open that with Firefox and then print that (which is why I didn't look into it until now ... that and not too many things to print, I suppose ... also the other printer (a Canon inkjet) worked just fine all this time ... anyhow having found this post while looking for a solution and having found one myself I thought I'd share 😃.
